best Quickbooks CPA

QuickBooks users from many countries often contact us for fast economical accounting, bookkeeping, tax cuts and near 24/7 support. No QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor has comparable credentials.
  • Charter member: Intuit QuickBooks and ProSeries Tax Advisory Councils; intensely used and supported QuickBooks since inception.
  • Only two-time winner of #1 QuickBooks Top Tester prize. Test pre-release features and bugs, master QuickBooks changes long before others see them, talk to top developers to shape QuickBooks changes. 412 test points vs 215 for the #2 tester; 25 for average testers. Intuit dropped points at my suggestion (my results discouraged other testers), so no one else can be QuickBooks Top Tester.
  • Helped change Intuit from actively hostile to QuickBooks add-ons (apps) to making them a #1 company goal. There were soon nine million web links to QuickBooks add-ons, counting words like apps and integrate (14 million on 11/24/16). They save time, save money, increase accuracy and can stop you from outgrowing QuickBooks.
  • Occasional successful Intuit opponent (payroll update fees on each QuickBooks company file, not each QuickBooks copy; CNET: This major victory… was almost certainly caused by a gigantic hue and cry… Block… is the moderator of the discussion group and led the battle against the new fees).
  • Former Intuit (QuickBooks) CEO Steve Bennett later wrote, “Keep raising hell when Intuit does something wrong!” Steve told current CEO Brad Smith to contact me before Brad came to Intuit. Brad wrote, “told by many Intuit executives… that you have been quite open to taking the time to assist Intuit, are a tremendous voice of reason and are one of our most impactful and innovative Professional Advisors.” He later added, “You’re fantastic Mike. Absolutely fantastic!
  • Intuit once gave CPAs continuing education credit for QCPA tests that gave wrong answers after each test. You could then get 100% by first answering all A, then all B, etc., WITHOUT reading questions. This stopped after my conference call with Brad Smith and the national CPA authority.
  • QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor (QCPA or Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor) since inception. Most QuickBooks consultants buy Uncertified QuickBooks ProAdvisor (QPA) titles with no training or testing. Others get QCPA titles by having QuickBooks Online clients. This is tragic, as Intuit admitted that ALL Advisor complaints involved Uncertified QPAs. Intuit tables also showed that extra unjustified QPA charges, vs self-designated QuickBooks consultants, were more than a billion dollars a year. This quickly dropped when it dropped QPAs from the Find-An-Accountant list, but it soon reversed this.
  • Intuit copied two of my web pages to its early QuickBooks web library and created two websites at my request.
  • Intuit QuickBooks Ask the Expert three times, mainly for Speeding up QuickBooks.
  • On 7/28/11 and 11/24/16 Google had 272,000 and 657,000 links to web pages with QuickBooks errors Mike Block.
  • Wrote more than 10,000 mainly QuickBooks newsgroup and forum answers, most when QuickBooks had little web presence; first Intuit QuickBooks blog by a non-Intuit employee.
  • First Intuit sponsored QuickBooks user group (South Florida QuickBooks Meetup was long the largest).
  • Repeatedly requested tech-support backed user-to-user forums, for faster and better answers. This let Intuit cut 14% of employees (later cuts made them less useful).
  • Featured in publications (besides many stories on Public tax cut efforts below):
  • Was #3 in U.S. Xero clients. Rod Drury, Xero CEO, “Stoked to finally meet our angriest fan @MikeBlockCPA, who often SENDS ME EMAILS IN CAPS. Hi Mike”
  • Florida State Board of Accountancy: The people of Florida owe you a debt of gratitude.
  • Public tax cut efforts:
    • Tax cut petition leader (1975 – 1994). Co-wrote and led petitions changing Florida Constitution, election laws and national petition practices; lead author: Proposition #1, The economic and legal issues, sponsored by the University of Florida; successfully argued petition before the Florida Supreme Court.
    • Led successful effort to get Florida Senator Chiles (“Now get Block off my back”) voting for the Balanced Budget Amendment, almost passing it.
    • Led successful effort to repeal defective Florida container tax.
    • Elected Broward County Port Commissioner (Fort Lauderdale – Hollywood, Florida; gave back salary as promised).

This is a partial list, so it is clear that no QuickBooks CPA has these credentials. Please contact the best QuickBooks CPA, for a free initial consultation and review.
