Stop Bank NSF Charges, Prepaid Debit Cards

You can try to stop bank NSF charges using a new federal law. It lets you tell banks not to put through credit card charges if they overdraw your account. Ask your bank about this and sign the related document to try to stop bank NSF charges. However, even with a receipted copy of the signed form, this does not stop NSF charges for recurring subscriptions or checks.
