Intuit says its 42,000 uncertified and unproven QuickBooks ProAdvisors, who need know nothing about QuickBooks or ever use it, charge $16 – $20/hour more than self-designated QuickBooks consultants. Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors cost only around $1/hour more. At 1,500 billable hours a year, QuickBooks users waste more than a billion dollars a year on these so-called QuickBooks ProAdvisors.
